Baby Blue
I think those are the same wheels that are on that Colorado Red Passat on page 2.

........
I have never seen these wheels anywhere else. Originality, terrible wheels, or I dont get out much.

Sleeper?
Its not uncommon to paint the lower valances, I think this one turned out exceptionally well.

Bling Bling
I think chrome wheels on Passats are rare breeds. You never really see them. One in five maybe, those odds at best. Nonetheless, nice shoes.

Passat Clones
These are Skoda Superbs. They are clones to the Passat. I think Volkswagen owns that company anyway. This dealership in Germany was flooded by the storm system that drowned parts of Texas in the early parts of the '02 summer.

VWVortex's & 1552 Design's "Project X"
VWvortex and 1552 Design came together to build this. This car started off as a 1.8T GTI. It was chopped and "scrapped" together with frame pieces from a Jetta and many other VWs. The engine in this "X' car is a 24-Valve VR6, a 6 cyclinder for you non-vw people. It has a 6-speed manual transmission out of a Jetta GLI that wrecked, lucky for them the drivetrain had no defects. Remember VW does not produce this, it was a project. It would be nice to have one special made
though. "Frakenwagen"?

2002 Golf R32
The R32, officialy called the Golf R32, isthe first "R" production model from Volkswagen. It hasn't reached the states yet, but Dr. Pischetsrieder, a vw representative was quoted as saying "Its not a matter of whether it will arrive, but whether you want the two-door or four-door version. Do you like the R32?"
The R32 comes standard with Aristo 18" wheels specially made for VW by OZ, 225/40ZR-18 Dunlop tires, high-intensity-discharge lights(HIDs),
blue powder coated calipers that are unique to the R32, and two large 3 inch chrome exhaust tips.
Volkswagen takes pride in mentioning the special exhaust "tuning" that went into this system. If one didnt know better they would have thought the exhaust was a straight aftermarket piece. The Golf R32 is the first production Volkswagen to utilize the new 3.2l 24v VR6 and in this application is rated at 240hp and 236 lb-ft. of torque. Power is transferred through VW's new MQ350 six-speed transmission and 4motion four wheel drive system.
All this and more for 32,000. Thats a lot considering you can get a nicely equipped Passat or even the GTI 25 Aniv. for about the same or less. But for the hardcores out there, it will be well worth it.
